Ganeti 2.7 design

The following design documents have been implemented in Ganeti 2.7:

• Ganeti Bulk Create

• Design for parallelized instance creations and opportunistic locking

• Design for executing commands via RPC

• Design for adding a node to a cluster

• Design for virtual clusters support

• Network management

• Linux HA integration

• Ganeti shared storage support (Updated to reflect the new ExtStorage Interface)

The following designs have been partially implemented in Ganeti 2.7:

• Network management

• Splitting the query and job execution paths: only queries not needing RPC are supported, through confd

• Partitioned Ganeti: only exclusive use of disks is implemented

• Ganeti monitoring agent: an example standalone DRBD data collector is included
